Keeping Your Promises in the Business World

by admin

In a world of missed deadlines and excuses, it is easy to be cynical about promises in the business world. I think there is a better way to go. Under promise and over deliver is a principle that is sure to make your business thrive. Setting an expectation and then exceeding it is a way to deliver value and confidence, and make sure that people involved in your business relationships are thrilled with the value they receive. People always like to be pleasantly surprised.

Some people consider me something of a world-wide expert in marketing. I have raised millions of dollars for children’s nonprofits and schools, as well as revitalized customer loyalty programs for nation-wide chains. I started before the days of the Internet, but I have swiftly been adapting to the opportunities and demands of the new technology particularly in the area of exceeding expectations. I understand the changing face of business through advanced technology and I work hard to bring the benefits to the people I work with. My latest project is to launch the world’s largest Internet Television Station. Using technology only enhances your ability to deliver more.

Technology can sometimes make it more difficult to connect directly with your customers and contacts. Email rather than face-to-face transactions make it easier to not keep your promises. After all, it is easy to delete an email. But working with someone through electronic mediums make it even more important to follow through and exceed expectations. The lack of personal interaction also makes it easier for them to not do business with you. There are a lot of choices out there and it is important to distinguish yourself in the field with your trustworthiness and customer service.

Pride in Business

I have always been about pride in my businesses and my accomplishments. I have worked with many professionals to create a worthwhile result, and I always take the responsibility to ensure that I have always stood for delivering more than I promise. I believe very strongly in value. I work hard to turn change and challenge into success for both myself and my business associates. Having your name associated with any business means that your reputation is on the line. Making sure that expectations are not only met, but exceeded is an important part of maintaining your good name. Taking pride in everything that is associated with you and/or your name will increase your standing in the business community. As you increase your standing, you will also increase the likelihood that others in the community will think of you first when they are looking for someone to work with. The importance of making certain that your work is respected and trusted cannot be over emphasized.
